She doesn't have to see him with her eyes, she just knows....

The world is her oyster!  Ms. G is in the moment doing what girls do best, making pretty eyes for my camera, and there he is...strolling along, letting her shine.  I had to post this picture because it has been touching me all day.  When I opened it I immediately cried and laughed.  Took a big sip of coffee, leaned back in my chair and thought about this awesome thing we have called family.  About how you have a peace in your heart just knowing they are yours and they are around.  They may not be in your sight but deep inside you feel them - always.

My New Lucky Charm

First the car three ahead of me on the freeway caught on fire, then as soon as I reached Galveston lightning flashed and the sky opened up and down came the rain!  But it was well worth going through all of that to get to this! 

You see this girl here.  She gave me my new lucky charm.  It's an angel wing (seashell for those of you who haven't been schooled by a five year old on the important things in life).  I'm sure she went home with a pocket full herself, but all I need is the one she gave me. It reminds me to believe in angels and luck and laughter and to put your toes in the sand as often as you possibly can.  So, thank you Ms. G for giving me one of your wings.

Do you think he's an old soul?  I sure do!  There's something in his face that feels like he knows a lot more about life than he's letting on!  Saturday morning PJ's, that's what Mr. C reminds me of - cozy and worn and familiar - something you can always count on to make you feel good!  When I look at this face, boy do I feel good!

 This next pose is all Wilson!  He came up with the idea to have each of their hands create the heart around baby E.  Yes, you can all cry now...you can be sure I am!

This is one lucky baby!

You don't have to ask Wilson twice to give his wife a kiss.  You don't have to ask Lauren twice to snuggle her husband.  Their kind of love is what all babies deserve!  We had an amazing maternity session with laughter and beauty and silliness and mosquito bites, and when I left these two...well, three to be technical, so many thoughts were running through my head of what their life was about to become and how READY they were for what lay ahead!  Babies bring you hope and wonder and wake you up to feelings and loves you never even knew existed.  Lauren and Wilson are truly a complete package and this baby girl is blessed to call them Mom and Dad!
